Tank Sales picking up after slow start to the year

Falling oil prices in 2015 had a negative effect on many resource based companies and the companies that support them. Ours included. However, our extensive group of dealers throughout Canada was able to find new opportunities in such diverse industries as Road Building and Heavy Construction and many slip tank users took the opportunity to get their tanks re-certified or replaced. A special mention goes out to our dealer in Cranbrook, BC, Fiorentino Brothers Contracting; they moved more tanks than any other dealer during the first quarter of the year. We very much appreciate all of their support.

The introduction of our new single walled slip tanks was also timely as we were able to service customers requiring smaller tanks. The slow down allowed us time to replenish our stock of warehoused tanks, in all sizes, so that we can maintain our policy of the speediest tank deliveries possible. As markets continue to improve and oil prices strengthen we will be ready to meet your slip tank requirements.

We also want to offer a huge “shout out” to all those offering help and support to the folks in Fort McMurray, in particular Alberta Fuel Distributors who are doing such a great job in delivering fuel and equipment to the crews fighting the fires.
